The head of Cambridge Assessment English Services for Spain and Portugal, Ramón Parrondo, has visited the Colegio de Fomento Monteagudo-Nelva on the occasion of the delivery of the official titles of Cambridge to more than 420 students of this bilingual school.
In total, 422 female students and students have received the diplomas of the external exams awarded by the prestigious University of Cambridge, titles referenced to the levels of mastery of the Council of Europe.
Specifically, students have received their accreditations corresponding to the levels of: YLEA1-Movers (91 diplomas), YLE A2-Flyers (19 diplomas), A2-KET (95 diplomas), B1-PET (119 diplomas), B2- First (88 diplomas) and C1-Advanced Certificate (10 diplomas).
In Monteagudo-Nelva, the learning of English begins early in the year-from 1 year in our Nursery School- and throughout the whole of the education the development of the multilingual competence in Spanish, English and French is promoted.
This learning is done through innovative programs, such as Magic Dragon in Children's, Child Talks!
(oratory in English in Primary) or with CLIL methodology (Content and Language Integrated Learning), based on integrated learning of content and foreign language, in Primary and Secondary.
During this year several professors have also been able to continue their training with Cambridge, visiting Cambridge University, in the United Kingdom, a centralized space from which all examinations are coordinated.
