Two hundred people have climbed on Tuesday to the Espinardo Campus of the University of Murcia, in an activity that is part of the Healthy University Day and organized by the UMUenBici association.
The group, escorted by the Police and accompanied by the Red Cross, has left at eight in the morning since the Convalescence and has reached the Campus through Juan Carlos I Avenue.
The objective of this activity is to promote the use of bicycles and sustainable mobility among members of the university community.
On the climb bicycles of the MuyBici service have been used and the UMUenBici association has distributed vests and reflective vests.
The Vice Chancellors of Quality, Culture and Communication, Javier Martínez Mendez;
and of Social Responsibility and Transparency, Longinos Marín, have participated in this activity, to which the Minister of Employment, Research and Universities, Miguel Motas, has also joined.
On arrival at the campus, the participants have enjoyed an ecological healthy breakfast and have raffled bicycles, three annual MuyBici bonuses and sweatshirts, among other things.
