Councilor Pedro García Rex has attended this morning the placement of the 'Tourist Quality Commitment' plaque to the Radio Taxi Murcia cooperative and the restaurant El Patio that since 2007 and 2008, respectively, have been passing, on an annual basis, the evaluations of renewal and distinction of this stamp

The head of Employment, Economic Promotion and Tourism, Pedro García Rex, has attended this morning the placement of the 'Tourist Quality Commitment' plaque to the Radio Taxi Murcia cooperative and the El Patio restaurant that since 2007 and 2008, respectively, come surpassing, on an annual basis, external evaluations and renewing the distinction of this seal.

Currently, Murcia has almost a hundred companies and services distinguished with the 'Tourism Quality Commitment' brand.

A badge that rewards the quality levels of Murcia products and services after accrediting compliance with the requirements established in the Good Practice Manuals and passing an external evaluation.

Murcia has been a SICTED (Integral Tourist Quality System in Destinations) destination for three years, during which important efforts have been made to extend and consolidate the quality culture, carrying out an intense awareness and training of the agents involved, both from the public sphere as private.

The establishments maintain their commitment attitude over time because the businessmen maintain the confidence placed in the SICTED, in addition to the training and support they receive through technical, individual and collective assistance and external evaluations themselves.

Councilor Pedro García Rex has thanked "the commitment and effort of Murcia companies and services SICTED that understand quality as a basis and element of boosting the competitiveness of their organizations so that Murcia continues to be a tourist destination of excellence."

"We will continue working within this program to continue improving the offer and for Murcia to continue consolidating itself as a competitive, attractive and quality destination," said the mayor of Tourism.
