In addition, visits to several Women's Centers were organized to inform them of the operation and mission of the Segura Food Bank.
The Food Bank of Segura is a non-profit charity, based on volunteering, whose purpose is to obtain free food to distribute them, also free of charge, among charities dedicated to the assistance and direct care of people in need within the Murcia region.
In October 2015, the Food Bank moved to its current location, located on the Murcia Region avenue, a new 1,500 m² warehouse in which a 30 m³ cold room is installed, allowing the fruit and vegetable program to participate fresh from the Ministry of Agriculture.
Currently, they have 40 stable volunteers who carry out the activities and missions of a food bank, together with the training and dissemination programs that the Bank carries out among the various public and private organizations and institutions in the Region of Murcia.
