More than 450 runners will participate in the fifth edition of the 2 MTB Race Realms, a staged mountain biking test that will take place on October 4, 5 and 6 in the Region of Murcia.

The Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, the Employment, Economic Promotion and Tourism, Pedro García Rex, along with the general director of Sports of the Region of Murcia, Francisco Sánchez, and the president of the Cycling Federation of the Region from Murcia, Sergio Martínez, have presented this fifth edition that with a tour of 144 kilometers divided into three stages will run through natural environments of Fuente Álamo, the hamlet of Corvera and the Regional Park of El Valle and Sierra de Carrascoy.

Stresses the special care of the natural environment and the places through which the test runs through assistance teams that are responsible for placing and removing all the marks of routes and at the points of departure and arrival, as well as assistance to participants who have physiotherapy medical service and technical assistance during the race.

The Murcian cyclist Ismael Sánchez Adán, of the 33 Bike, in the men's category and the Albacete Desirée Moya, of the Berria Manzanares Racing in females were the winners of the last edition of 2018.
