The Almudí Palace will host tomorrow, Tuesday, from 5 pm, a technical day in which it seeks to deepen what is a city brand and is organized by the Department of Urban Agenda and Open Government, which directs Mercedes Bernabé.
Different experts will talk about the Murcia Brand, the identity of the municipality or the qualities of the most successful cities, in this event that can be attended by 200 people with free entry until full capacity is reached.
The day will be opened by the Councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernabé, with a presentation on the study 'Marca Murcia' already made.
Subsequently, the journalist and writer Manuel Madrid, head of the Culture and Society section of the newspaper La Verdad, will talk about Murcia as 'Inadvertent City', making a reflection on the identity of the municipality.
Madrid is the author of several books such as 'Amarás América' and 'Caladas de Cuba' and every Saturday he publishes in La Verdad the opinion column 'La Vereda del Capitán'.
At 18.30 it will be the turn of Dionisia Mata, Insight Director of Havas Media Group Spain, which will delve into 'The value of brands'.
Havas Media Group works to create relevant connections between brands and people and is present in more than 140 countries.
Some of its clients are Disney, Danone, Hyundai, Lidl, Lacoste or Tripadvisor, among others.
The day will be closed by the teacher, consultant and creative, expert in city brand, Toni Puig who will explain all the ins and outs of the 'City brand'.
Puig, who has 32 years of experience, is known to be the promoter of Barcelona as a City Brand.
Professor of Branding and Public Marketing, director of Public Services at the Barcelona City Council, is also a specialist in reinventing cities from cooperative work between citizens and government.
After this technical day, the Department of Urban Agenda and Open Government will organize work tables to continue developing the 'Murcia Brand'.
