The Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, José Guillén, met this morning with the president of the Central-West Municipal Board, Diego Avilés, and two of its members to coordinate improvement actions in the neighborhoods that comprise this district .
The neighborhood of San Antolín will be, of the five that make up the district, one of the most benefited thanks to the remodeling and revitalization of the street and Plaza del Pilar and the concrete improvements with woodland implantation in other streets, such as Federico Balart, Plaza Sandoval, Plaza San Julián or other neighborhoods such as San Pedro.
Other issues discussed at the meeting have been the improvements of the Botanical Garden, known as the Malecon, the replacement of the historic stairs that link this garden, as well as the recovery of some species of woodland lost over the years.
In addition, the Municipal Board has proposed the change of lighting in some roads such as Muñoz de la Peña, Burial of the Sardine, Ericas, Cristo del Perdón or Federico Balart.
