The University of Murcia hosts the 'III International Congress on History and Videogames', which takes place on September 30, October 1 and 2, in the La Merced campus.
During these days, experts in the field will address how the videogame affects historical discipline, as well as its impact on the teaching and learning process of history and the resulting communication phenomenon.
This forum aims to generate discussion points that allow progress in the settlement of the videogame as a cultural expression channel that accompanies the development of the Digital Humanities from the perspective of History, Education Sciences and Communication.
The congress is part of the research project `History and Videogames (II): knowledge, learning and projection of the past in the digital society 'of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
