Workers of the City of Murcia participated last Wednesday in a Motivational Workshop on energy efficiency, carried out within the framework of the European project COMPETE4SECAP, of the Department of Urban Agenda and Open Government.
The objective of this program is to motivate employees to continue working in a more energy efficient way, helping to reduce energy consumption and promoting climate change mitigation.
The City of Murcia, with the European project COMPETE4SECAP, intends to reduce the consumption of the Abenarabi, Plaza de Europa and Local Development Agency buildings, through the change of behavior and energy awareness of the officials.
So far this year it has saved more than 100,000 kWh, which means that it has stopped emitting 36 tons of CO2.
