The Governing Board has approved the supply of furniture and equipment for the Municipal Children's School of La Paz, after declaring itself deserted in a previous hiring process.
Now it has been done by simplified procedure and divided into three lots:
-Lot 1.- Furniture and fixtures, with a tender base budget of 32,861.28 euros
- Lot 2.- Outdoor furniture and patio games, with a tender base budget of 18,878.65 euros
- Lot 3.- Curtains, with a tender base budget of 7,423.87 euros.
In this way, the City Council, through the Department of Education and Infant Schools, will invest a total of 59,163.80 euros in the acquisition of different furniture such as cabinets, tables, shelves, cribs, playgrounds, foam tatami, stackable beds , fences ...
The new Infant School of Peace will offer before the end of the year modern, comfortable and equipped facilities with all the necessary resources so that the children who attend can find the best conditions.
Remember that the building of the new Infant School of La Paz is built on one floor and will have a total of 9 classrooms, of which 6 units will be reserved for the stage of 2 to 3 years, another two for children under 1 to 2 years, and a unit, exchange area and independent cribs, for babies from 0 to 1 year.
The classrooms will be located with south and east orientations, around the main area of ​​the playground.
The nursery will be located on a municipal plot located on Juana Jugán Avenue and Mathé Telegraph Street, with an area of ​​2,653 square meters, and both its facade and its main access are located towards the existing public garden.
The City Council has invested 1,048,360 euros in the new nursery school, 80% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the framework of the 2014-2020 Sustainable Growth Operational Program, with the DUSI Murcia IT strategy: Innovation + Tradition.
The winning company of the work is the Temporary Business Union constituted by Avance y Desarrollo de Obras SL, Instaladores Reunidos SA and Construcciones La Vid SA
