The Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, presented this morning the #BeActive Night, a sporting event that will take place tomorrow at the Fofó Park Auditorium, from 6.30 p.m. to 12.30 a.m., within the European Sports Week.
"Under the motto 'Music moves your heart', the City Council participates in this initiative that offers endless free outdoor activities, which do not require registration," said the councilor.
Zumba, body Combat, yoga, boxing-based fitness, sports dancing and salsa complete the #BeActive's program of activities.
The Sh'bam Family initiative also stands out, a dance activity choreographed to the rhythm of music in which people of all ages can participate.
The European Sports Week is an initiative of the European Commission that aims to promote healthy sports in citizens of the European Union with the name #BeActive.
"This initiative includes activities that bring sport, physical activity and healthy habits to the whole society regardless of age, gender, physical condition and ability," said Councilor Felipe Coello, who explains that the Superior Council de Deportes is the national coordinator of the program that takes place in Spain.
