José Ballesta gave the start of the race, which began and ended on the left side of the river.
The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, accompanied by the Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, kicked off the Move through the Organ Donation race;
one of the activities framed within the XXXIV National Congress of Transplant Coordinators in which more than a hundred athletes participated.
The event, which has passed through the left side of the river, was attended by the president of the Autonomous Transplant Congress of Murcia, Pablo Ramírez, and the general director of the National Transplant Organization (ONT), Beatriz Domínguez-Gil.
The 5-kilometer race has been organized by the ONT and the Transplant Coordination of the Region of Murcia.
Specifically, the National Congress of Transplant Coordinators began yesterday, September 25, and will conclude tomorrow, after having held more than fifty activities, between workshops and round tables.
