The 2019 Budgets, approved today at the Plenary Session of the City Council of Murcia by PP and Cs, has received the unimportant of the Socialist Municipal Group because they do not eliminate inequalities between territories or between citizens of the municipality and, in addition, because in the only section that there is equality it is at the time of paying, in the part of income, not in the one of expense, as the councilwoman Carmen Fructuoso has explained.
In this regard, it has been asked whether these Budgets improve the quality of life of neighbors;
Yes, really, they remedy their problems.
"They are born with no capacity to execute, they are kidnapped by that whirlwind to privatize services and, in addition, there are only 3 months left to finish the 2019 exercise, they arrive 9 months late," he added.
In this sense, Fructuoso stressed that obtaining resources through sanctions reaches "nothing negligible amount of 13,276,000, of which almost half are traffic fines" and also that the intention of the government team is "to take from the pockets of Murcia 285 million euros for direct, indirect taxes, fees or public prices, which is 644 euros per neighbor, whether you live in the city center or if it is from Zeneta or Lobosillo Now, the question is, does that amount correspond to the services you receive in return? "
Likewise, the councilor has highlighted from the Budgets that the obtaining of loans amounts to 24.1 million, "all this to finance municipal investments, which in the end never run", while "by 2019 you practically freeze the contributions to the meetings municipal, so we will not participate in a project where there is no commitment to real decentralization and 8% is allocated to the direct management of these meetings. "
Fructuoso has also affirmed that with these Budgets, PP and Cs transform the right to obtain a public service into a business.
"That is, companies that do not lose a single euro because the City Council is already there to cover their losses, how many freelancers and companies in the municipality can have the same fate? None, I already answered."
In addition, he pointed out as an example that "of the 19 million for public transport, almost 11 are for the tram, a public transport that despite the money we spend is expensive for many of our citizens and inefficient, while 3 are recorded, 3 million euros to finance Terra Natura. "
On the other hand, the Socialist Group achieves the commitment of the Corporation to have an operational and visible Emergency Plan, so that municipal boards are constituted before October 31 and to pay tribute to the writer Castillo-Puche.
