The expected "Cordillera Sur Murcia Fest" returns for the fourth consecutive year to Beniaján by the Cordillera Sur Youth Association.
From this entity made up of young people and teenagers from the area, sown with ideas and vitality, they have worked very hard for months to present to the citizens an increasingly bright, complete and diverse festival, while maintaining urban and social transformation through of art as distinctive of its essence.
Endorsed by the success of previous editions, the one already considered as the quintessential youth musical event of the Cordillera, maintains and reinforces the institutional support received from the City of Murcia and the Autonomous Community, from the Cepaim Foundation, Estrella de Levante and Sala REM.
Nor has the collaboration of the institutions of Beniaján and the local network of businesses been lacking.
The sum of efforts has resulted in a program of cultural activities, open and free that had their starting gun on September 21 in the Murcia Revolver Room, with the festival's PRESENTATION PARTY, animated on this occasion by the ska of the Italians CaPaBrò.
The highlight will be the great concert at La Estación next day 28.
As a novelty of this year and as a healthy and promotional activity of the South Cordillera, also coinciding with the "Day without Cars", on the morning of Sunday 22 a GREEN ROAD MARCH took place between Beniaján and Alquerías.
For the night of Friday 27, a theater show has been organized in TRIBUTE TO JUAN BASTIDA, actor, announcer and showman from Beniaján.
The tribute that the Youth Association wants to pay to its remembered and celebrated citizen, who died just a year ago, will take place at the "Sebastián Gálvez Arce" Auditorium at 8:30 p.m.
"So that five years pass" (Lorca's tragedy directed by Ana Barceló, awarded in Creamurcia 2018) and "Jake, the dog" (from the young director María Silla) will be represented.
