The Councilor for Urban Agenda and Open Government, Mercedes Bernabé, has received this morning in the Plenary Hall of the City of Murcia to international students of the Hispanic Institute who study Spanish in the city until June.
The mayor has received them with a speech in English in the Plenary Hall of the City Hall, where she explained the importance of the place where they were: “Here the decisions that direct the life of the municipality are taken and it is also a place of reception to authorities, such as kings, presidents and mayors, among other personalities. ”
Mercedes Barnabas has exchanged a few words with the students, "the most trained and valued generation, in whose hands is the future of a society that is eager for new capabilities."
Finally, the councilor thanked the Hispanic Institute for the opportunity to meet her students through this reception, as well as her work in learning languages ​​"for ours and for those who visit us."
The event has ended with a family photo with the students, from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Ireland.
