The City Council announces that the activity in all the educational centers of the municipality is also canceled for tomorrow, due to the heavy rains that are falling on the municipality.
This announcement is made following the protocol established by the Ministry of Education and Culture, given the predictable worsening and aggravation of the weather situation with extreme risk of torrential rains and floods throughout the Region of Murcia for tomorrow Friday, September 13.
The Ministry of Education and Culture has issued a statement announcing the suspension of activity in schools in order to avoid unnecessary risks for students, teachers and administration and services staff.
In this way, as announced yesterday, this measure is contemplated for both the Infant and Primary Education colleges, as well as Secondary Education Institutes and Infant Schools of the municipality.
The City Council recommends that while the alert remains activated, do not use private vehicles, do not cross the waterways or streets with water, respect the cut points and do not establish vehicles in flood areas.
