The City of Murcia, Rotaract Club Murcia and Cancha have joined forces in favor of the Cepaim Foundation.
During the month of September this project will be carried out throughout the Region of Murcia with a double objective: an environmental and a social one.
To do this, several collection points will be placed in all Cancha stores in the Region, which seeks to give a second life to garments that are no longer used, donating it to those who need it most.
The project, encompassed under the hashtag #YoNoDesperdicio, seeks that the citizens of the whole Region of Murcia find a simple and comfortable donation point where to deposit disused garments.
Cancha's support is essential in this project where it provides a donation point in each of its 13 establishments in the Region: Six in the center of Murcia, one in Caravaca, four in Cartagena and two in Lorca.
CEPAIM, in its role within the project, will be responsible for receiving this donation of garments and allocate a part for donation and another part for recycling.
The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, has "encouraged Murcia to take advantage of the change of wardrobe, deliver those clothes that they no longer need to the needy. In this way we will give others the opportunity to take advantage of garments that we no longer get at the same time that we take care of the environment. "
