The reading of the proclamation of the Murcia Fair for the first time will also be in sign language (06/09/2019)

The Federation of Deaf People of the Region of Murcia (FESORMU) together with the City of Murcia, through the existing collaboration agreement since 2003, have facilitated the presence of sign language interpreters in the proclamation of the Murcia Fair 2019.

Tonight at 9:00 p.m. at the Plaza Belluga the proclamation of the fair will be held by the Coral Discantus with a special performance by Ruth Lorenzo.

Deaf people who attend the event will have a reserved space and the proclamation will be translated simultaneously for the attendees gathered there.

Paqui Pérez, Councilor for Seniors, Disability and Development Cooperation states that "Thanks to the agreement we have signed with FESORMU tonight, the proclamation can be translated into sign language and thus make our fair more accessible"
