The two emblematic environments of the Murcia Fair, the attractions of La Fica and the Huertos del Malecón, are connected, starting today in the afternoon, by a free river cruise.
The solar boat picks up the passengers from the jetty in front of the La Sardina monument and transfers them to La Fica, where a new drop-off point has been enabled.
It also performs the reverse path.
The tourist boat will offer these river routes from 19.30 to midnight, from today 6 until September 16.
The mayor of Murcia, José Ballesta, together with the councilors José Guillén and Jesús Pacheco, today made the inaugural journey and said that “the river, which connects the two main stages of our Fair, such as Los Huertos and the attractions of La Fica, is the thread of the more than 300 shows and events that the city will host these days. â€
Among the different activities that are going to be carried out in the Segura environment, the grand opening of the 'Murcia Río' river promenade stands out this Saturday afternoon, “with a party open to all Murcia†- said the mayor-, orchard workshops and autochthonous animal fair, open-air cinema or the great exhibition of Murcian birlochas that, for the first time, will take flight over the Segura â€.
