The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, attended today the official reception of the patron saint of Murcia, Our Lady of Fuensanta, in the church of Carmen and the subsequent procession to the Cathedral, "a day of great emotion, marked on the calendar, which is the starting signal for the September fair in the capital in which Murcia put all their love and delivery. "
The head of the regional Executive stressed that "this year is more special, if possible, since the Virgin of Fuensanta returns to the Cathedral after being submitted by the Restoration Center of the Region of Murcia to a thorough study to know the status of conservation and proceed to the restoration of the size ".
In this sense, López Miras said that this process will begin before the end of 2019.
