This year the title of gourmet of honor will be awarded to Antonio Mejías of Pastelería Mejías and Rafael Fernández.

The Councilor for Culture and Heritage Recovery, Jesús Pacheco, announced this morning the news and the poster of Gastrovin, the Wine and Gastronomy Fair of Murcia 2019, which celebrates its XVII edition.
It will begin on the next day 5, after the arrival of the Patron Saint of Murcia at the Cathedral, and will end on September 17.
The gastronomic fair will continue in the Huertos del Malecón, maintaining the same venue, with the same schedule last year, 20:30 to 00:30 hours, and the same price: 11 euros.
New companies and wineries will participate, such as Bodegas Delampa, Bodegas Madrid Romero, Bodegas Sierra Norte, Bodegas Maquiavelo, Marmarengo Restaurant, Boutique Restaurant Del Sabor, Restaurant and Professional Cutters of Ham Cambres or La Casa Del Celiaco Murcia.
“This year we will have on the second Sunday of the Fair, in the Gastrovin enclosure, the Federation of Las Peñas de Jumilla with the tread of grapes and you can try the must of the tread.
In addition, on Murcia day we will have the participation of two Folklore groups, one from Jumilla and another from Murcia.

On this occasion, Antonio Mejías de Pastelería Mejías and Rafael Fernández will be awarded the title of gourmet of honor.
"The Gastrovin has become an important meeting point for wineries and other gastronomic products companies in the Region of Murcia to show their novelties and creations to tens of thousands of Murcia and visitors who come there," concludes Pacheco.
