The Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, José Guillén, and the mayor of the district, Miguel Ángel Noguera, have met today to discuss some works that are going to be carried out in the town.
Remodeling work will be carried out in this space on Juan Carlos I Street, as well as repairs to the environment and furniture.
"Our intention is always to improve our green areas, as well as parks and gardens by offering better services and always prioritizing the safety of citizens," says the mayor.
The Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, José Guillén, has met today with the mayor of Corvera, Miguel Ángel Noguera, to discuss some work that will be carried out in the district.
The main issue has been the remodeling of Luis Fontes Pagán square, located on Juan Carlos I Avenue and popularly known as the Plaza de las Palmeras.
"In this space, what is intended is to replace the existing source with a more modern and with a design that integrates with the environment," explains the councilor
In addition, other space repairs will be carried out and planted planters with vegetation and wooden seats, as well as benches and concrete seats, will be installed.
During the meeting, other informatics topics were also discussed, such as the application of the SmartCity MiMurcia project, the conditioning of children's areas and the renovation of lighting.

In total, remodeling works will be carried out in a total of 14 districts: Alquerías, Baños y Mendigo, La Ñora, Sangonera la Verde, Llano de Brujas, Zeneta, Rincon de Seca, San Pío X, Cabezo de Torres, San José de la Vega, Algezares, Puente Bacon, El Palmar and Corvera.
This project is included in the 'Plan of Pedanías, Diputaciones and Peripheral and / or Depressed Neighborhoods 2018-2019' of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
