The Department of Sports and Health offers Murcia a total of 7,000 seats for their municipal facilities, from a complete offer of 14,891 seats in the Sports Program for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Of the total sports offer, 3,212 are destined for the pavilions and sports centers, 11,629 for swimming pools and 50 seats for the More Sports subscriber, which consists of an inscription to several activities in different facilities, shifts and schedules, aimed at those over 16 .
The Councilor for Sports, Felipe Coello, explains that "in the renewal period of June already registered more than 5000 users and another 2,500 people signed up in the June-July period, leaving about 7,000 seats free."
The period for the registration of the new squares will begin on August 21 for room and racket activities and from August 26 for water activities.
The schedule for signing up will be from 9 am to 2 pm, through the reservation line 968 98 06 28 and, from 9 am to 11.59 pm through the website mi.murciadeportes.com.
Users can choose between almost twenty different sports activities in swimming pools (swimming with and without a monitor, swimming for pregnant women, aquagym ...) and about a dozen in sports halls, such as maintenance gymnastics, fitness, bodybuilding, aerobics , tennis, pilates, etc.
To these places we must add those offered by the Inacua Sports Centers, La Flota, JC1, Cabezo de Torres and Verdolay.
The course begins on September 2, 2019 with the activity of bodybuilding as a complementary and free service for registrants and ends on June 30, 2020.
The course is distributed in three cycles: the first will be from September 18 to December 22, 2019;
the second will be from January 7 to March 31, 2020;
and the third from April 1 to June 30, 2020.
