This state-of-the-art technology facilitates the cultivation of more than 22,000 plants to decorate the September festivities, reducing costs and personnel, optimizing public resources.
The greenhouse has a weather station that sends orders to climate control, so that for example the upper part is closed in episodes of rain or wind.
"The City Council is committed to our products and the promotion of greater wealth and quality of the numerous specimens, which are produced every year in this greenhouse," highlights the Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, José Guillén.
The Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, directed by José Guillén, has implemented a new climate control system in the well-known Mayayo greenhouse, in Sangonera la Verde, in order to facilitate the cultivation of more than 22,000 plants, in addition to optimize costs.
"With the installation of the latest generation climate control that allows greater automation of this space, we reduce costs and personnel by optimizing public resources," said José Guillen, who adds that "this system will allow the greenhouse itself to regulate its temperature, according to the parameters that we are marking, facilitating the production of a multitude of species that we would otherwise have to buy in order to incorporate them into our gardens. â€
In addition, along with this modern system, there is a weather station that will proceed to send orders to climate control.
In this way, for example, the upper part of the greenhouse will be closed in case of rain or windy episodes, which will avoid any possible problem while increasing the cultivation efficiency of the thousands of copies that each Year are produced in this municipal nursery of Mayayo, in Sangonera la Verde.
“Specifically, in the space where this new climate control system is located, about 22,000 plants are being produced for the next September Fair, so that these plants that will decorate streets, squares and flowerbeds have the 'Made' stamp in Murcia 'â€, says the Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of Development.
“The City Council is committed to our products and the promotion of a greater wealth of the numerous specimens that are produced every year in this greenhouse,†concludes José Guillén.
