The initiative 'Women's plural' of the Department of Social Rights and Family, will offer five guided tours in the last four months of the year.
This project seeks to "make visible and value that women have also been active participants in the history of the city of Murcia, valuing their biography and the outstanding role they had in the history itself and in the society of their time", Councilwoman Pilar Torres explained.
In addition, "these routes will modify and expand the historical perspective and make visible the contribution and the way to face the lives of women throughout our historical past knowing those heritage elements of the City of Murcia that have traditionally been visited and known since a masculine perspective. "
In each of the five routes may participate, free of charge, 30 people previously enrolling in the City Museum on the phone 968.274390 or in the email Museo.ciudad@ayto-murcia.es
The tours will be both inside and outside buildings, depending on the coherence of the discourse for each of the proposals.
In addition, the presence of sign interpreters is contemplated for those guided tours in which there are participants who require it.
