Attention by appointment increases by 27% during the first half of 2019 with respect to the same period of 2018. In addition, the waiting time has been reduced from 11 minutes and 24, in 2018, to seconds to 6 minutes and a second, so far this year.
"These data demonstrate the commitment of this City Council to offer the citizen a quality service, which suits their needs and as soon as possible," said Councilman José Guillénv
The Statistics and Notifications Service, under the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, has improved its attention to the public through the prior appointment system with an increase in applications of 27.13 percent during the first semester of 2019.
During 2018, through this queue management system, a total of 41,356 applications were attended, of which 18,044 were from the first semester and 23,312 from the second semester.
Considering that the majority of cases are applications that affect more than one citizen and that are usually accompanied by the couple or family, last year approximately 85,000 people were treated.
The monthly average of 3,446 applications, equivalent to about 7,000 citizens.
On the other hand, in the first six months of 2019 the requests have been 24,762, which is equivalent to a monthly average of 4,127 applications
Therefore, "this assumes that during the first six months of 2019 the demand for citizen service has increased with respect to the first half of the year by 27.13 percent," said the Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration.
Another of the relevant data to highlight during these first months is the reduction of the waiting time, since the citizen validates his appointment to be attended and is finally called.
Thus, it has gone from 11 minutes and 24 seconds, in 2018, to 6 minutes and a second, so far this year.
The Councilor for Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration adds that “throughout the semester, the previous appointment does not take delay beyond the next day, that is, the citizen requesting an appointment today can obtain it for the next day".
"These data demonstrate the commitment of this City Council to offer the citizen a quality service, which suits their needs and as soon as possible," says the mayor.
