The obstacles of the road are eliminated in a 26-kilometer route to prevent cyclists and pedestrians from being disturbed "This is one of the most traveled sections by the residents of the municipality for sports or walking. A place surrounded by nature that we have to take care and keep in perfect condition and with the greatest security ", highlights Councilman José Guillén
The City of Murcia, through the Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, directed by José Guillén, performs cleaning and clearing work on the bike path that links the Raal with the Contraparada.
In total, they are reviewed and operated in 26 kilometers to avoid obstacles on the road and that may bother cyclists and pedestrians who make this route daily.
“This is one of the most traveled sections by the residents of the municipality to play sports or walk.
A place surrounded by nature that we have to take care of and maintain in perfect conditions and with the greatest security, â€said Councilman José Guillén.
Among the tasks that are carried out are the removal and clearing of weeds, the elimination of possible branches that prevent the proper functioning, care and maintenance of the different banks that are in the route.
These tasks, which are carried out periodically, are in charge of a team of people who work with all types of specialized machinery and who can solve and revise section by section of the space.
They can also be done in a timely manner, depending on the needs that exist.
The company STV Gestión is frequently controlling it to solve any possible incidents in the route.
The City Council continues thus betting on the use of the bike lane sections as well as the promotion of healthy habits such as walking and cycling.
