These works, which consist of the elimination of the low branches, are mainly developed in mulberry trees, tipuanas and brachychiton. "The safety of citizens is always our priority. Therefore, the objective of these works is that no branch or element bother pedestrians through the streets and avenues ", highlights José Guillén
The Department of Urban Development and Modernization of the Administration, directed by José Guilén, carries out the work of refaldeo (elimination of annoying low branches) in more than 3,000 trees in the municipality of Murcia, specifically in specimens such as mulberry, brachychiton and Tipuanas
"The safety of citizens is always a priority for this City Council, which is constantly working on the maintenance and care of our green areas," said Councilman José Guillén, who visited this morning the work that is being carried out in the street del Arenal, in the Infante neighborhood.
The head of Parks and Gardens insists on the need to carry out these works, "because the objective is that no branch or element disturb the pedestrians through the streets and avenues."
A team of four people are responsible for fine-tuning the trees throughout the municipality, especially in those areas where there is a greater concentration, such as Avenida del Progreso, Gran Vía de Murcia, Polígono de Espinardo, on Arenal Street, San Pío X or Ronda Sur, among others.
"It is necessary to take care of our parks and gardens, as well as the different species of woodland, so that our environments show all their beauty", highlights the councilor.
