Councilor for Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, has indicated that “on October 30 of last year, Emuasa informed Adif of the provisional diversions of collectors that affect the underground works as a result of the modification by Adif of the draft underground arrival of the AVE to the city of Murcia â€.
"On January 31 of this year, in a meeting held in Madrid with those responsible for Adif, Emuasa is informed that the records of expenses must be approved prior to the execution of the works," Navarro continued.
The councilor has continued saying that “on February 19, Emuasa sent Adif the requested projects.
In all this time, Adif has not been able to approve the projects, arguing that the items presented were not included in their databases, which is incomprehensible to the municipal company since the items reflected are those necessary for the execution of the works".
“In July of this year after a meeting held in Emuasa offices with Adif staff, an agreement is reached and the projects are sent again.
Now Emuasa is still waiting for the answer of the approval of the expense to tender these works â€, explained Navarro
“It is surprising that the socialist spokesman José Antonio Serrano announces the hiring of Emuasa's collectors and also stands as Adif's spokesperson implying that they will soon authorize the expense of the diversion of the collectors.
Hopefully it will be like that.
Its delay is only attributable to the national government. â€
"For the Government Team of the City of Murcia, the underground is a priority action and that is why Emuasa has executed all the works whose expenditure has been authorized," the councilor finished.
