The Department of Commerce, Markets and Public Roads led by Councilor Juan Fernando Hernández is organizing, in collaboration with the Consumer Inspection service, a series of training sessions aimed at the holders of market stalls and supply spaces.
They will be carried out from October with the objective of involving them even more in the sanitary and nutritional quality of the food that is sold and thus give a better response to consumers.
These days will address such important issues as the incidence of heavy metals and anisakis in fish, good hygienic handling practices and even the nutritional qualities of the most demanded foods that value the importance of a balanced diet.
Each person requires different nutrition depending on their age, size, physical activity, sex or health status.
For this reason, the responsible Department considers it very necessary that professionals in the markets and supply places receive specific training in this regard that allows them to have basic knowledge and respond to the interest of some consumers, increasingly concerned about taking food that, In addition to being nutritious, be healthy.
Councilor Juan Fernando Hernández has expressly thanked the offer of Mercamurcia that has made available its facilities to deliver some of these training sessions organized by the Department of Commerce, Markets and Public Way.
