The spokeswoman for the Municipal Municipal Group in the City of Murcia, Rebeca Pérez, has announced the award of the project for the adaptation of a new Senior Center in Espinardo for an amount of 211,000 euros.
After the municipal acquisition of a ground floor of a building located in the main street of the district, we will proceed to the reform and adaptation of this new facility to provide it with a new and accessible space for the elderly in Espinardo.
"This project includes the creation of several units, such as a multipurpose room, a cafeteria, a reading room and other services so that the older residents of Espinardo enjoy their own space where they can interact and develop, always seeking to improve their well-being" , says Rebeca Pérez.
The Popular Party spokeswoman has added that "it is a bass, which will allow our neighbors greater accessibility and comfort, they will also gain their own and exclusive space for them, according to their needs, located in a central area of ​​Espinardo. This center it will become a place of encounter, of coexistence and a space for the development of cultural, recreational and leisure activities of the elderly of the district ".
