The Housing service has submitted the documentation to the CARM to access the subsidies for the construction of municipal housing - under the State Housing Plan 2018-2021.
The Department of the Elderly, Disability and Development Cooperation that Paqui Pérez directs considers it essential to increase the current municipal housing park on a rental basis "in order to serve families with special needs living in our municipality, we are working on it."
The homes subject to these grants will be financed under this State Plan.
They would be destined for rent for more than 25 years and would be awarded according to the requirements established in the applicable municipal regulations and, in any case, respecting the limit of 2.5 of the IPREM of the persons that constitute the unit of coexistence.
Disabled and elderly with mobility problems
In addition, these homes, which would have to be built following parameters of accessibility and energy savings, would be located on municipally owned land, specifically in the city of Murcia, in Espinardo, in Senda de los Garres and in Churra;
and would be aimed at a new typology of family units, such as disabled people and the elderly with mobility problems.
