The Governing Board has approved the projects and specifications to contract the remodeling of children's areas and installation of shade in 14 districts of the municipality.

This initiative will be carried out in Alquerías, Baños y Mendigo, La Ñora, Sangonera la Verde, Llano de Brujas, Zeneta, Rincon de Seca, San Pío X, Cabezo de Torres, San José de la Vega, Algezares, Puente Tocinos, El Palmar and Corvera.

Thus, in the Old Bridge Street of Baños and Mendigo the paving will be improved, the curbs will be renewed and a new fence and new urban furniture will be placed.

In the garden of Los Rosales in Alquerías there is a renewal of its children's area structured in pavements of three types, rubber, concrete slab with children's games and picnic area.

The remodeling and improvement works of the garden located on Calle Río Ebro in La Ñora consist of the creation of a workout space to promote healthy outdoor activities, the relocation of a children's area with security fencing, new playgrounds and works of gardening and landscaping around them.

In addition, urban furniture will be improved, with new benches and a boundary wall will be modified, generating a new living area.

In the Camino del Palmeral Garden next to the Avenida Vereda Real of Sangonera la Verde, the current earthen pavement will be replaced by paving stone and textured and colored concrete, improving accessibility.

The children's play area will also be provided with shade.

Shadow covers will be installed in Llano de Brujas and the security fence will be replaced in the gardens located on Reina Sofia Street, Juan Pablo II Square and Julián Cámara Music Square

The works of the Joaquín López Practicing Garden in Zeneta will also include the placement of a security fence, a new cover for the children's play area, the paving and stage painting and the installation of street furniture.

Both pergolas with textile cover will be installed both in the children's area of ​​Professor Hermenegildo Baltasar Jiménez Square in Rincon de la Seca and in the Garden of the Yesera in San Pío X, also providing the set of architectural design elements that improve the decoration of the squares.

The works include the complete remodeling of the children's area, including new children's games.

The improvement in the equipment of the garden located in Avenida Constitución in Cabezo de Torres will include the improvement of a children's area replacing the existing games and the safety floor with new ones and the installation of a canine recreation area.

On El Mirador street in San José de La Vega, a recreational space will be created for children of all ages and for children with reduced mobility.

The project includes the renovation of three independent areas and urban furniture completely.

The work on Pepe Serna street with Paseo Monasterio de La Luz in Algezares will consist of the rehabilitation of two existing areas in the same garden, the first one with dimensions 9.5x9.5 and the second 15x9.5, with the installation of games for all the ages oriented to the socialization of children.

In addition, we will proceed to the installation of cover of both children's areas using metal pillars and microperforated fabric.

In the Plaza Juan Molina Oliver in Puente Tocinos, pavement and street furniture will be renewed.

At present, the square is paved in terrizo with some areas of elastic rubber pavement insufficient in extension.

The pedestrian zone surrounding the children's play area will be distinguished from the area for plantations with different pavements.

Thus, the area destined for pedestrian traffic is projected paved with concrete paving stone while the area destined for plantations is set up in a large planter with irrigation system to complete the current trees with plantations of shrubs and plantations of aromatic species or of flower

The remodeling of the children's area of ​​the garden located in C / Altamira de El Palmar raises the installation of a shade pergola, the complete remodeling of the children's area, including new playgrounds and the installation of a new fence.

In the Plaza de La Fuente de Corvera the existing source that needs repairs will be replaced by another that has a design that integrates with the renovation of the square.

In addition, 7 planters labeled with vegetation and wooden seats will be installed.

Concrete benches and seats will be installed around the fountain.

The works will be contracted through 10 lots for a total maximum price of 706,977 euros, according to the following detail:

- Lot 1: Baños y Mendigo - Alquerías: 95,000 euros (term: 4 months).

- Lot 2: La Ñora: 62,000 euros (term: 3 months)

- Lot 3: Sangonera La Verde: 113,000 euros (term: 4 months)

- Lot 4: Zeneta: 59,000 euros (term: 3 months)

- Lot 5: Rincon de Seca - San Pío X: 50,000 euros (term: 2 months)

- Lot 6: Cabezo de Torres: 52,277 euros (term: 3 months)

- Lot 7: San José de la Vega: 65,000 euros (term: 3 months)

- Lot 8: Bacon Bridge: 80,699 euros (Term: 2 months)

- Lot 9: El Palmar: 65,000 euros (term: 2 months)

- Lot 10: Corvera: 65,000 euros (term: 2 months)

This project is included in the 'Plan of Pedanías, Diputaciones and Peripheral and / or Depressed Neighborhoods 2018-2019' of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
