The Councilor for Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, visited this morning the works that are being carried out in Espinardo to renovate the existing water supply networks in different roads of the district.
Thus, Aguas de Murcia works on the renovation of these facilities in Federico García Lorca, Rafael Alberti and Antonio Navarro Botija, which, due to the high degree of obsolescence and deterioration that they present, has caused possible breaks and cuts in the supply.
In addition to the renovation of all the supply and sanitation connections in the three vials, 3 new valves and 3 new registration wells will be installed.
Once these actions are finished, a total area of ​​1,602 square meters will be paved.
The investment amounts to 129,373 euros and the execution period is set to two months.
Remember that Aguas de Murcia is making improvements in the networks of different districts such as Alquerías, Era Alta, Algezares, Los Dolores or Zarandona, among others.
The Action Plan involves the creation of 1,500 jobs
The action is part of the Plan of Actions of Aguas de Murcia 2015-2020, which is endowed with a total of 32 million euros, of which 70% of the works are executed or are in execution, which implies an investment of 21 million euros.
This Plan involves the creation of 1,500 direct jobs and includes a total of 63 projects.
62% of the actions correspond to sanitation improvement works and the remaining 38% goes to work in the supply network.
