The City of Murcia, through the Department of Sustainable Mobility and Youth, will collaborate in the development of the Youth Entrepreneurship Program for Action against Hunger in the municipality.
The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, has met with Dolores Marco, Territorial Delegate, and Laura Caravaca Marín,
Manager of Socio-Labor Inclusion Programs in the Region of Murcia and the Valencian Community of this NGO
This young entrepreneurship promotion program is intended for people between 16 and 30 years old, who are not working or studying.
It seeks to develop the entrepreneurial skills of the participants both through group entrepreneurship sessions and individual and personalized support.
The format of this initiative is innovative in both format and content as it uses gamification, sustainable value proposals and crowdfunding among others.
This program will be developed in three annual editions until 2021 and, according to forecasts, 65 people are expected to participate in each edition, with 10% labor insertions and 20% training.
It is also expected to create 13 business plans and 5 businesses.
This establishes direct aid to self-employment with 11,000 euros per itinerary and 2,200 euros per project and support in financing with microcredits, financial intermediation and crowdfunding
Also, the council will give Action to Hunger some rooms in the Young Space 585 to develop group and individual sessions.
