Also, during the moments of alert for high temperatures, the Parks and Gardens services establish a coordination and a special device so that it can act efficiently and quickly in case the weather makes it necessary.
"Due to the heat and the temperature difference between night and day, the tree releases branches and to avoid that we hydrate it to control the humidity of all its parts and that it is always balanced," explains Councilman José Guillén.
Precisely, a few days ago, technicians from the city of Murcia and the STV Gestión concessionaire carried out revision and hydration work on the Floridablanca ficus due to the high temperatures of the past weeks.
