The Governing Board has given the green light to the award of the works for the adaptation of a local as Elderly Center Espinardo.
The City will invest 256,126 euros (VAT included) in the adaptation of this space as a Senior Center located on the ground floor of a building on the Calle Mayor de Espinardo.
After the performance the premises will have fully accessible equipment, reading room, gym, cafeteria with kitchen and dining room and multipurpose room, hairdresser, administrative offices and toilets, with a total floor area of ​​467.18 m2.
The elders of Espinardo, through its Board of Directors and advised by municipal technicians from the Seniors section, have actively participated in the distribution of spaces and the selection of fully accessible facilities.
Construcciones Hermanos Espín is the company that will be responsible for carrying out the work within eight months.
This action, which has involved an investment of 256,126 euros (VAT included), is financed entirely with municipal funds from the Extraordinary Investment Plan in Pedanías, which is managed by the Department of Districts and Districts.
Once it is built it will be managed by the Department of the Elderly, Disability and Development Cooperation.
