The Governing Board approves granting aid to the Orfeón Fernández Caballero, for the coordination and empowerment of the Youth Orchestra 'Ciudad de Murcia' and the Caja Fontes de Javalí Viejo Cultural Association, for the management of its annual program of activities.
The Governing Board has given its approval to the granting of subsidies to two entities to continue promoting and maintaining the culture of Murcia.
On the one hand, an aid of 20,000 euros has been approved to the Orfeón Fernández Caballero as a collaboration for carrying out the activities related to the coordination, organization, improvement and empowerment of the Youth Orchestra 'Ciudad de Murcia' in the year 2019
The Orfeón develops musical activities throughout the year so this line of collaboration for musical training, production, staging and concert trials is established, as well as the incorporation of young people from the Conservatory of Music to the Youth Orchestra "Ciudad de Murcia "OMFC to promote and spread music among youth.
A grant of 10,000 euros has also been granted to the Caja Fontes de Javalí Viejo Cultural Association, for the management of its annual program of activities.
This association is a non-profit organization that was born in 2005 with the purpose of carrying out cultural, social, sports, recreational activities and any other social activity.
The annual program has various activities, among which are conferences, concerts of typical Murcian instruments, cultural trips both inside and outside the Region of Murcia, reading workshops, painting exhibitions, charity career, among others.
