Delegations of the Xi'an Physical Education University and the Ningbo University have visited the Murcian institution to close the first agreements between both centers of higher education, specialized in the field of sport and business management.
This visit comes days after the Ministry of Education of China recommends the UCAM as one of the universities to study abroad.
In addition, The ranking of the prestigious Times Higher Education places the UCAM the tenth university in Europe in teaching quality.
A delegation from the Chinese sports university Xi'an Physical Education University, headed by its vice president ChenYan, has traveled to the Region of Murcia to learn more about the educational model of the Catholic University of Murcia, recognized in Europe as' the university of sport 'and sign the first lines of collaboration between both institutions.
ChenYan, who has also had a meeting with José Luis Mendoza, president of the UCAM, has shown his gratitude for the welcome and highlighted the similarities between the institution of Xi'an and the UCAM in its strong commitment to the sports field.
On the other hand, the Catholic University of Murcia has also received the visit of an expedition of Ningbo University, led by Wang Haohan, vice president of the same, with the aim of strengthening ties between both universities for future collaborative projects, most of they are framed in master's and degree programs in business management and sports management.
Both meetings have coincided with the news of the inclusion of the Catholic of Murcia in the list of universities recommended by the Ministry of Education of China to study abroad.
This will allow the UCAM to expand collaborations and strengthen ties with institutions in the Asian country in terms of educational projects and the incorporation of students.
In addition, Times Higher Education, considered one of the three most important ranking organizations in the world, along with the QS and Shanghai ranking, includes in its THE Europe Teaching Rankings at the Catholic University of Murcia among the 200 best in Europe, and the ten best valued by their students in their educational quality.
The ranking evaluates the preparation of the students for their insertion into the labor world, the success rate of the graduates, the services of the university, etc.
