The Europe Teaching Rankings is prepared by Times Higher Education, considered one of the three most important ranking organizations in the world along with the QS and Shanghai ranking, where the best universities are ranked, comparing their educational systems with references from all over the world. world in terms of academic reputation, scientific production, transparency, student-teacher ratio or the internationality of students and teachers.
In its last report, the UCAM has obtained the tenth position in one of the four major areas of study, which assesses the satisfaction of the services provided, the quality of education and the general assessment of the institution by the student.
The list highlights the Spanish university education as the second best valued, behind the United Kingdom, with 14 universities among the first 100 positions.
To this end, the publication has carried out more than 125,000 interviews with students from 18 European countries, who have answered questions related to the quality of teaching, relationship with the teaching staff, employability or commitment of the institution, among other issues.
The prestigious ranking, which ponders the education systems of the most prestigious universities in Europe, structures the score based on fourteen items, classified into four major areas-student satisfaction, resources, results and environment.
In this way, the weighting takes into account aspects such as the assessment of the students, interaction with the teaching staff, recommendation of the institution, quality of the services, ratio of students to teacher, rate of graduates, employability, academic reputation, gender equality between the students and the faculty, academic quality of the same, rate of internationalization of teachers and students, as well as the percentage of students in mobility programs such as Erasmus +.
Manuel Ruiz, vice chancellor of Quality and Academic Organization, points out that: "rankings such as this, which assess the quality of teaching, the teaching staff or the resources of the university itself, are a reference that show the path of university excellence".

Once again, the Catholic University of Murcia is indexed among the best nationally and internationally.
In addition to the results of the `THE Europe Teaching Rankings 2019 ', which positions the Murcian institution among the 200 best in Europe, there are other classifications such as CYD or U-multirank, which recently have also highlighted the quality of their undergraduate and postgraduate degree, mainly in the health and polytechnic areas, in the latter.
