The councilman of Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, has visited this morning the works that are part of the Plan of Actions of Aguas de Murcia 2015-2020, endowed with 32 million euros and which involves the creation of 1,500 direct jobs through 63 projects.
The councilman of Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, has visited this morning the works that Aguas de Murcia is doing in the hamlet of Algezares.
The works consist in the expansion of the sewerage network in Víctor Morelli Street in order to improve the quality of life of the environment since currently the sanitation connections of the houses located in the field of action are connected to a network interior that runs through the interior patios of the same.
To this end, a new sanitation network and a new registry well are being installed, in addition to renewing four existing sanitation connections.
Subsequently the whole area of ​​action occupying an area of ​​172.50 square meters will be paved.
The works, which will be executed within a month, represent an investment of 39,893.09 euros.
The Action Plan involves the creation of 1,500 jobs
The action is part of the Water Action Plan of Murcia 2015-2020, which is endowed with a total of 32 million euros, of which 70% of the works are executed or are in execution, which means an investment of 21 million euros.
This Plan involves the creation of 1,500 direct jobs and includes a total of 63 projects.
62% of the actions correspond to works to improve sanitation and the remaining 38% goes to work in the supply network.
In recent months improvements have been made to the sanitation network in Los Dolores, Zarandona and Zeneta, among other districts.
