The councilman of Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, visited the land this morning, where they are installing new telephony networks, drinking water, irrigation network, sanitation and electricity that will put an end to the problems of evacuation of rainwater torrential that caused the closure of the vial to traffic
The councilor for Sustainable Development and Huerta, Antonio Navarro, visited this morning the urbanization works that are being carried out in an area of El Puntal, in the vicinity of the Altorreal Highway and the connection with the A7.
When the management of the sector, of industrial use, which affects an area of 40,000 m2, ends, the ordination will allow to approve the granting of licenses, in addition to solving the problem of water evacuation when torrential rains occur and will open the possibility of releasing waters blacks to the new sanitation network.
On the other hand, this industrial sector, which historically was occupied by car dealers, will be able to increase its electrical connection for the chargers necessary for the implantation of the electric vehicle.
The investment made by the promoters, amounting to 1.9 M €, will provide the sector with new telephony networks, potable water, irrigation network, sanitation and electric power.
The level of the road to urbanizations has also been raised by 2 meters at the most unfavorable point, thus avoiding the accumulation of surface water and eliminating the "trench" effect that was generated, making it difficult to access the adjacent plots, Altorreal road and the Alcayna and highway A-7.
On the other hand, the installation of the new sanitation network has remedied an environmental aspect since it will allow the sector to dump the waste to said channeling.
Lastly, all overhead electric networks will be eliminated, with a new transformation center that will make it possible to contract the necessary powers for the implementation of the electric vehicle.
Before this intervention was carried out, there was a special problem with the Iberdrola networks, which made it impossible to expand them in order to meet the new needs for charging electric vehicles in dealerships in the area.
Cessation of floods and discharges
Similarly, the installed companies lacked sanitation networks and the rest of the services were undertaken in a precarious manner.
Nor was the expansion or implementation of new companies possible.
In addition, when there were episodes of torrential rains, given the lack of evacuation networks, the road to urbanizations and exit to the A-7 highway was flooded and caused the closure of traffic.
The scope of action affects 40,000 m2.
The maximum height allowed for the buildings is one floor (12 meters) and 4 floors for office buildings.
Land management has led to the transfer to the City Council of 6,434 m2 of green areas and more than 1,700 m2 of road, in addition to the cession of 10% of the use, replaced by an indemnity of 433,000 euros.
