The University of Murcia hosts this Wednesday, July 3, the inauguration of the XXV days of university education of the JENUI'2019 Computer, which will take place from July 3 to 5 at the Campus de la Merced.
The inaugural act will take place in the Hemicycle of the Faculty of Letters, at 9.30 am and will be attended, among others, by José Lujan, rector of the UMU;
and José Manuel Badía, chairman of the JENUI'2019 steering committee.
Over more than two decades, these seminars have become the forum where university computer teachers in Spain, and to a lesser extent in Latin American countries, have been able to discuss how to improve teaching and learning processes that affect this discipline.
Among the activities of this edition, whose organizing committee is formed by a group of professors from the Computer Science faculty coordinated by Jesús García Molina and Óscar Cánovas Reverte, it is worth noting that the conference will start with a round table to address the influence of the JENUI in the university teaching of Computer Science during its twenty-five years of existence,
In addition, various conferences have been included, including presentations by Ernesto Cuadros, from the University of Engineering and Technology of Peru (UTEC);
Alberto Gómez, professor at the University of Extremadura;
and Matti Tedre, from the University of Stockholm, who will discuss how the teaching of information technology has evolved, as well as the current interest in the paradigm of computational thinking.
