The CreaMurcia Contest, organized by the Department of Sustainable Mobility and Youth, directed by Rebeca Pérez, has determined that Malacotton is the best young band 2019 in the municipality in the category of 'Other trends'
The jury also awarded Quía!
with the second prize and Chill Boys with the third.
Thus, Malacotton will receive 2,000 euros, the second prize of Quia!
is rewarded with 1,000 euros while Chill Chicos has received 500 euros.
In addition, with the aim of promoting these groups, a CD will be recorded that will compile the awarded themes and will participate in the "Younger Thursdays" and in other events organized by the City Council during the year.
The jury was made up of the Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Youth, Rebeca Pérez, Rocío Ramos, Antonio Serrano and Vicente Alberto Sopale, acting as secretary Juan Albaladejo.
Among the three categories convened by the Creamurcia of the Music discipline (Pop-Rock, Other Trends and Author Song) a total of 121 groups have participated.
