The restructuring of the transparency portal will include the curriculum of professors and researchers.
The Governing Council, in its session this Friday, June 28, has approved three new calls for the Vice-Rector for Research and Transfer that represent an investment for this year of 550,000 euros.
This means that the annual total of funds allocated to research groups amounts to 1,220,000 euros, which implies an annual increase of 58%.
The approved calls are the following:
- Call for a 'Predoctoral Contract for Research Training in the field of Care Services of the University of Murcia (Service of Applied Psychology SEPA)'.
- Call for 'Research Aid to meet specific needs of the Plan of Research and Transfer of the University of Murcia.
- Call for 'Transfer Challenges 2019 of the Own Plan of Research and Transfer of the University of Murcia'.
On the other hand, the Vice-Chancellor of Social Responsibility and Transparency has presented the general lines of the future restructuring of the transparency portal of the University of Murcia.
The main novelty will be the inclusion of information on the curriculum vitae of professors and researchers of the teaching institution, as well as the realization of new courses of transparency for specific groups.
Dispensers of the ethical code of the teaching institution will also be installed in the different faculties and services of the university.
Regarding ODSesiones - the great project of Social Responsibility and dissemination of the Sustainable Development Goals of the University of Murcia, the Governing Council has been informed that it will resume its activities in the different faculties in the month of October.
The main novelty of this new season is the invitation to participate to students of schools and institutes in the Region.
The Governing Council has approved, on the other hand, the Digital Strategy of the University of Murcia that will be presented to the media in the coming days and has given the green light to seven new general protocols of action and five voluntary agreements.
Likewise, the implementation calendar and adaptation tables of several modified degree programs have been approved: Political Science, Government and Public Administration, Audiovisual Communication, Geography and Territorial Planning and Information and Documentation.
Likewise, the calendar and adaptation of the University Master in Bioinformatics has been approved.
Technical modifications of the academic calendars of different faculties have also been approved.
The Manager, for his part, has presented the annual accounts of the University of Murcia corresponding to the year 2018, accompanied by the audit report.
These accounts are accompanied by those of the Veterinary Hospital Foundation and the company of own medium TICARUM SLU.
Several multi-year expenses have been approved, among which the contracting of services for the Hércules Project stands out, infrastructure aimed at developing a comprehensive research management system for Spanish universities and led by the University of Murcia.
The Vice-Chancellor for Teaching Staff has presented to the Governing Council the resolution of the sabbatical year permit call for the next academic year and the appraisal committee for the applications for emeritus professors has been renewed.
Finally, the Governing Council has given its approval to the technical modifications of the regulations of the Student Council of the University of Murcia (CEUM).
The most important change pursues effective equality between men and women within the board of directors of this council.
