The Catholic University of Murcia has been included in the list of universities recommended by the Ministry of Education of the Government of the People's Republic of China, which will allow the UCAM to expand collaborations and strengthen ties with institutions in the Asian country, in the field of educational projects and incorporation of students.
This official selection of foreign higher education institutions is a fundamental guide to help Chinese citizens study abroad and promote international cooperation and exchanges in education.
The Catholic of Murcia is one of the 14 private universities in Spain recognized in this selection, along with entities such as the University of Navarra or IE University.
For inclusion in the list to become a reality, the UCAM has had the support of the Embassy of China in Spain and the Attaché of Education of Spain in China.
In this way, the work of the UCAM in China will be strengthened, a country with which it has been working for years.
The Catholic University has two commercial offices in China, has received delegations from local universities, has participated in several inverse missions and several professors have made stays and projects in that country.
As a result, this course that has concluded has had almost fifty students of this nationality, a figure that has been growing annually and has led to the realization of activities such as the celebration of the Chinese New Year or the participation of Chinese players in the UCAM Murcia CF.
