On Wednesday June 26 will be closed the programs of Explorer: Youth with Ideas, and Start your TFG-TFM carried out by the Entrepreneurship Office of the University of Murcia UMUEmprende in collaboration with Santander Universities and Cise, the first, and with the Social Council of the University the second.
The event will take place in the room of degrees of the Faculty of Economics and Business at 12:30 pm, and will be chaired by José Luján, Rector of the University of Murcia, who will be accompanied by the President of the Social Council of the University, Juan Antonio Campillo, the Vice Chancellor for Employment, Entrepreneurship and Society, Alicia Rubio, the General Director of Universities, Juan Monzón, and the Director of Entrepreneurship, Antonio Aragón.
In the Explorer program, the selected young people received five months of training in Lean StartUp, canvas, search for financing and suppliers, market and competition analysis, or teamwork, among other aspects.
All have been mentored throughout the program by a mentor, carrying out various tutorials to get their business project carried out.
In addition to being a training program it is a contest, where all participants opt for 60,000 euros in prizes and 50 trips to Sillicon Valley to discover the birthplace of entrepreneurship and two additional prizes: Woman Explorer and Disruptive Technology.
The Explorer program of the University of Murcia has a second and a third prize for the finalists.
Start your TFG-TFM: creation of companies
The Emprende tu TFG-TFM program also comes to an end, an entrepreneurship program aimed at students who develop their TFG-TFM aimed at creating a company.
In the program, of 4 months of duration, training has been given in development, validation, communication of business ideas that are specified in a business plan that for many is their final degree project.
In this edition of the program a total of more than 30 TFG-TFM have been carried out, in which there are 7 collaborative projects carried out by students of technical profile degrees together with others of economic profile;
3 projects are linked to the Faculty of Biology, 1 to Optics, 2 to Letters and 1 to Psychology.
The projects have been supported in their development by professionals and managers, and each one is supervised by professors.
In addition, various organizations supporting the development of projects have participated in the sessions of the program such as INFO, CIM-M, CEEIM, Avalan, Murcia Ban and ADLs, among others.
