On the other hand, the university Senate approved the new regulations of academic distinctions of the University of Murcia, recognitions that "seek to manifest the sensitivity of this institution to the events of their environment."
This regulation regulates the presentation of applicants for honorary doctors and their terms, restricting the presentation of these distinctions to a maximum of two per year.
The regulation also regulates the rest of the recognitions granted by the UMU: Gold Medal, Medal of Honor, Medal of Medal and Medal to the university dedication.
