La actuación afecta a los 27 km de cauce que traviesan el municipio e incluye una gran cantidad de proyectos de carácter ambiental, paisajístico, social, agrícola, cultural, ocio, lúdico, deportivo, infantil, parques y espacios libres que comenzaron a desarrollarse hace unos meses y continuarán desarrollándose según una programación que completará la definitiva integración del Rio Segura como el gran elemento estructurante y vertebrador del territorio de la Huerta de Murcia.
