The International University of the Sea organizes the sixth edition of the course 'Leisure and disability: a path towards inclusion.
Cognitive accessibility: comprehensible spaces', which will take place from June 25 to 29 in the space La Nave de Puente Bacons.
The objective of the course is to sensitize, train and give tools to students to act properly when, in any environment, relate to a person with intellectual disability.
This training aims to promote a new alternative culture based on solidarity, inclusion and the importance of accessibility.
During the course, the role of leisure as a fundamental element in improving the quality of life of these people will be addressed.
It will also deal with the adaptation of the person with disabilities to the environment through self-determination and support.
This training is aimed at students, teachers and anyone interested in receiving training on intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, self-determination and rights, accessibility and inclusive leisure.
